what . the . hell ? honestly.

left my phone somewhere in the mall.
called it.
some woman answered.
i was like "yay you have my phone!"
her: "yeah i found it in arrowhead mall"
me: "oh thats great, im here now at the guest services desk, do you think you could come give it to me"
her: "im at 75th and camelback right now, im home"
me: "omg. wow, ummm i really need my phone back is there anyway you could get back to arrowhead mall?"
her: "how 'bout you meet me half way, i still have errands to run"
(me thinking, 'BS, youre just trying to jack my phone!')
me: "i dont have a car and i have no way to meet you anywhere"
her: "okay ill come back but im not coming inside, ill drive up outside of AMC."
me: "okay well kind of car are you driving so i know what to look for?"
her: "a blue green ::mumble mumble:: blazer"
me: "okay that works. thank you so much."

luckily i had the razons with me, there would be no way id go out there to get it myself!
and keep in mind that all this conversation was taking place on MY PHONE.

10min goes by and i call her from jeremys phone.
me: "umm... how close are you?"
her: "im at 59th and Bell right now"
me: "okay, how long do you think you'll be?" i work tomorrow and i had to go home soon.
her: "ten minutes tops"
me: "and im sorry, what kind of car do you drive again?"
her: "a blue green ::mumble mumble:: blazer ... a minivan"
me: "okay great thankyou."

10min goes by the minivan pulls up...
me: "oh thank you so much."
::hands me the broken phone with a crushed jacked up screen::
me: "did you think to take it to guest services in the mall when you found it?"
her: "i had to take my kids home! oh by the way, i rolled over it before i gave it back to you. maybe you shouldnt leave your stuff lying around places you little bitch!"

by that time i was just too stunned to reply or do anything. i just walked away with my busted phone... tears welling up in my eyes.
where does she come off treating me like that? all i wanted was my phone back, that one she obviously was trying to steal, and since she realized she wasnt going to get away with it, she decided to break it.

well, a few minutes later she called my phone saying "oh yeah and..." and the call dropped. im almost positive it was her too... bc who starts out a call like that? i bet she just wanted to rub it in further.

i was too upset to think about it at the time, but i should have gotten her license plate number.

well monday, ill go to the service place and see maybe if the can look up my call history through the computers. if so, they could get her number. and find out her info through her service provider and i can file a police report.

im so hurt by all this.
